Ken has a diverse background in business, agriculture and community service. A Wallowa County resident since 1969, he started a wilderness outfitting company that rapidly grew to be the largest outfitting business in the county. In 1992 Ken’s oldest son Jon took over Outback Outfitters.
Ken then attended and graduated from the Metro School of Real Estate and became licensed in 1993. He has completed the required education and has become an Accredited Buyers Representative and is also a Graduate of the Realtors Institute. In addition he has earned the coveted “CRS”, Certified Residential Specialist”, designation.
Ken has served on the Wallowa County Planning Commission for over 30 years with multiple terms as chairperson and is the current Chairperson. He is also currently on the board of the Wallowa County Education Service District and a board member of The Wallowa Resources, Wallowa County Red Cross Board member Instructor and a Past President of the Wallowa County Board of Realtors.
The Wick family resides on and operates a 500 acre cattle/horse ranch in Enterprise. Ken’s wife owns Kelly’s Gallery on Main Street in Joseph and his youngest son has returned home to help operate the ranch after serving in the military. Ken and his family are very involved in a wide variety of community organizations and events.
